2022 was a doozy.
Hey y’all,
It’s been quite a year for me, both personally and professionally. On the professional front, I’m happy to announce that I published six books this year – The Second Collapse series and The Inkwater Series! It’s been a dream of mine to be a published author for as long as I can remember, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my stories with all of you.
On a personal level, however, this year has been one of the hardest I’ve ever experienced. My dad passed away, which has been an immense loss for me and my family. It’s been a tough journey to navigate, and there are days when it feels like the weight of it all is just too much to bear. My panic attacks became pretty severe, and I finally started on medication that has helped immensely.
Despite the challenges, there have been some bright spots as well. I’ve been able to focus on my writing career in a way that I never have before, and I’ve learned so much about myself and my craft in the process. I’m grateful for the support and encouragement of my friends and family, who have been there for me every step of the way.
Overall, it’s been a good but challenging year. I’m looking forward to the new year with hope and determination, and I’m excited to see what the future holds. Mainly, not one but TWO series set in a new world that I think you all will love. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I hope 2023 will be an exceptional year!
Until next time, Atley
