Oh, July Atley. So hopeful, so excited for uninterrupted writing time. Little did I know the absolute cesspools of disease that my children would become. Winter was one long bout of coughing and vomiting. I’d planned on having two books out by February. Instead, I ended up spending most of my free time being a nurse and getting locked into all the responsibilities I’d hoped to shuck, like the PTO. The school district decided to close our school this year, so we’re doing A LOT this year for the staff and students. So it’s been busy af y’all.

BUT I STILL HAVE PLANS.

Because it’s a new year, I’m fresh-faced and full of misplaced confidence! I’ve finished Bound by Nightmares and it’s GIRTHY, y’all. This sucker is more than 500 pages! I’d planned on it being a smutfest full of double-penetration gangbangs, but alas, the need for plot and romance got in the way. So you’re getting character development AND your girl going airtight. I had so much fun writing this one and I’m just waiting to see what the beta-readers think is too crazy. Not because I’m cutting any of it (I’m letting my kinky flag fly! Let me fly, coach!), but because I want to know what to do more of. This series is going to get progressively spicier as we meet each Heir, and let’s just say there are going to be a ton of acronyms involved, DAP, DVP, DP GB, MFMM…

I’m so excited about my next project, Locks and Lycans! I’m going to try to bang this book out in three weeks. It only took me seventeen days to write Slayer of the Undead, so I think I can knock this book out since I already have it all outlined and have been dreaming of this book for years. (Remember what I said about misplaced confidence? This is what I’m talking about.) But after writing a massive five-person perspective epic, I think having a single POV will be a BREEZE. This is what I’m telling myself after taking six months to write one book. I want to catch up on my previous plans damn it!

Snows of Maeoris is probably going to be delayed a couple of months because I want to go all out on it. When I first came up with Maeoris, I almost wanted to skip the Sands Series just to get to Reign of Snow and Wings. BECAUSE UNGHHHHHH. It’s going to be so fucking good and I have to nail it. So that’s probably going to be my Summer Project. But we’ll see. My kids handled the Easter get-together germs like fucking champs, so I might have some time during the school day to write. So maybe earlier! (Again. Misplaced confidence.)

I’m so freaking excited for y’all to get into these new series this year! All of these are going to be so much fun! And totally different! We have the absolute Smutfest of Heirs of the Demon Queens, the Slow-burn Urban Fantasy that’s the Hacksaw City/Saint’s Way Universe, and the Spicy AF Dark Shifter Romance that is the Sands of Maeoris series! It’s going to be so much fun! Now that I’m out of my seasonal depression hibernation mode, I plan on making more updates, so stay tuned!
